About the IFDW
Educate, Energize, Elect! The Indiana Federation of Democratic Women is Indiana’s oldest statewide women's organization, operating since 1972. Through affiliation with the National Federation of Democratic Women, its members are represented at the Democratic National Committee. IFDW works to elect women to public and party offices. IFDW PAC is the only statewide Democratic women’s organization that endorses and funds candidates.
Each spring and fall, Federation members from all parts of the state meet to train and engage women to effectively organize and communicate to elect Democrats. Trends and new resources in fund raising, social media and field organizing are constantly evolving and IFDW is there to bring the latest innovation to members.
Electing Democratic women is our priority. Please join us; learn more about the issues, messages and mechanics of campaigning. You will find a place to build friendships and fulfill your need to be part of changing the political landscape in Indiana.
